Revamping an Aussie Immigration Compliance Website
Project Overview
This project was super exciting for me as it was my first international gig, and I got to work with Complize, a team that’s revolutionizing the Australian GovTech industry!
I provided a complete redesign of their existing website and developed the new site on HubSpot. Plus, I streamlined their HubSpot CRM workflows to make everything run more smoothly. I also helped them create a fresh digital brand identity and nailed down an awesome design theme that fits perfectly with their compliance product and target audience.
The main goal was to give their outdated and poorly designed site a major facelift, turning it into a sleek, user-friendly website that really promotes their immigration web platform. The key objectives were to boost demo bookings and attract new customers by making a strong first impression.
Project Details
Before & After: The original website had significant UX issues, leading to a confusing user experience and high bounce rates. I addressed these challenges by redesigning the site from the ground up, focusing on better navigation, content layout, and visual appeal.
Design Process: I began by creating the brand identity and color theme in Figma, ensuring the design aligned with Complize’s branding and target audience. I then continued the design on HubSpot, where I used a template as a starting point. But let’s be real, templates only get you so far—I had to tweak and customize a lot to make sure it fit the company’s needs perfectly.
Customization: The template was just the beginning. I created new components and extensively customized the layout, colors, and typography to give the site a polished, professional look that really resonated with their brand. This included building custom elements to ensure the site met all the specific requirements of the project.
Words Matter: In addition to the design and development work, I also took on the copywriting and microcopy for the website. I made sure the content was clear and persuasive, guiding visitors through the site with the end goal of booking a demo. I also focused on using visual hierarchy to keep the longer sections, like the Solutions page, easy to navigate and interesting to read.
Graphics & Visual Content: To make the content more engaging and instantly understandable, I added custom graphics that complemented the copywriting. These visuals not only reinforced the brand identity but also helped break down complex information, making it more accessible to the audience. The combination of strong visuals and clear copy created a cohesive and compelling message across the site.
Blog Page & SEO Strategy: We wanted to attract new audiences and enhance the company’s online visibility, so I designed a blog page that’s optimized for SEO and SEM. The idea was to draw in organic traffic and then get those visitors to explore the rest of the site. The blog is now a key tool in converting casual readers into potential customers.
Outcome
The new website not only looks a lot better, but it also works way better too. User engagement is up, demo bookings are on the rise, and the blog is pulling in new visitors. The redesign gave Complize a stronger online presence and helped them promote their immigration compliance solutions more effectively.🌟
